In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create beautiful orthographic engagement ring drawings (rendering using alcohol markers.)

As an experienced designer, illustrator and trainer Jennifer Rowlands will lead the workshop and provide step-by-step guidance on a classic orthographic drawing, how to use alcohol markers and share tips and tricks to achieve stunning details on paper to take your client illustrations to the next level.

With materials (markers, stationery and paper) supplied to use during the workshop there is no need to bring anything with you. This class is perfect for jewellers, designers and jewellers industry professionals wanting to master orthographic drawings in an efficient way.

Light refreshments will be provided during the workshop along with a digital PDF for future development.

This workshop will cover:

  • Drawing an engagement ring in orthographic format

  • Drawing a diamond.

  • Light theory

  • and Rendering the orthographic drawing.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will walk away with foundation skills to confidently create beautiful illustrations and will have acquired valuable processes that they can use in future design projects or to create detailed client drawings and illustrations.
